Dr. Costanza Gori

Sexual Counselor

My name is Costanza Gori, and I’m a certified Sexual Counselor, registered with the Italian Federation of Scientific Sexology (FISS).

I started my academic journey with a degree in Art History from the University of Florence, but over time, I became more and more interested in understanding the psychological and social aspects of human sexuality, which led me to specialize in this field.

I spent two years living in San Francisco, where I had the chance to work closely with women, the LGBTQ+ community, and people involved in the local Kink/BDSM scene. While I was there, I also volunteered at the Women’s Building, a women-led space focused on self determination, gender equality, and social justice. This experience had a big impact on me, both professionally and personally, and reinforced how important it is to offer a safe, non-judgmental space where people can talk about and explore their sexuality.

When I returned to Italy, I completed a two-year Master’s in Sexual Counseling at the Institute of Clinical Sexology in Rome (ISC), and I also took a course on Sexuality and Gender Identity at the University of Colorado. Since 2021, I’ve been working as a certified Sexual Counselor, supporting individuals and couples as they explore their sexual well-being.
